Director

Melissa is the mother of an 18-year old son with epilepsy, who is the driving force for her passion for helping children and adults living and impacted by epilepsy. She is new to our board as of 2020 but has a great deal of experience working with different board organizations and has held two board President positions.

Melissa graduated for Olivet College with a BA in psychology and put her degree to use working with children in the juvenile detention facility and youth within the school system attending ECE classrooms. She also has extensive business experience while working as a District Manager covering the midwest region for a large childcare company.

Melissa enjoys spending time with her family-her husband, Jim and two children Colton (18) and Quinn (16). They enjoy sporting events, traveling and spending time with extended family and friends
